I have watched all the kingdom hearts 3 trailers and have noticed one thing. Sora, Donald and Goofy are all silent in combat. This disturbs me, as Sora's battle cries are "take that! Ha!" And things like that. When Donald uses thunder, he says, "I got it!" And so on. But watching the gameplay, as sora turns his keyblade into dual guns, he shoots fire without saying something like "chew on this!" Seeing that he was fighting a big heartless, he could've said "Pick on someone your own size!" (That line could've also been used in the scene with the Rock Titan and the choo choo train) Maybe he could've said, "It's over!" Or one of his lines from Kingdom Hearts 2. Donald could've said "You're toast!" When he shot fire on a heartless. And goofy could make one of his undefined noises.
I was also thinking that maybe they could add a new spell to the franchise; WATER! The water would make the heartless slip and fall stunning them. But, it can not be used in Atlantica or anywhere under water, as it wouldn't do anything. Fire also should not be available underwater, to make the game more realistic, and maybe underwater, thunder could shock all the heartless, because water is a great conductor of electricity.

Comparing KH3 to KH:COM, even the old gameboy version is more like what you explained. I dont think that Disney should stop the tradition, and also. Sora is a person. People talk. Even in KH: COM. And for this exact reason, I'm a Fire Emblem fan. In the new Fire Emblem game, Marth, Ike and everyone else actually Talk in the cut-scenes. I think that for that reason, Fire emblem is better. this post just proves my point even more that Fire Emblem is better.
